Dear WriteByNighter,
New year, new dedication to your writing. Right? Are we all
sticking to our resolutions so far? (And by "we" and "our" I mean "you" and "your," because mine were off the rails by January 2 1.)
If you started or continued a book in January and could use a (free!!) boost, read on!
Because next week I'm giving out ten freebie 30-minute sessions with a WriteByNight writing coach!
Here's how it'll work: You reply to this message with a brief summary of your project and (optional) a
sample page or two.
I pick ten names out of a hat, and then match you ten winners with a writing coach who works in your genre. You and that coach schedule a 30-minute call (phone or Zoom, your choice), during which you can do any one (or all) of three things:
1. Read some pages aloud and receive immediate feedback;
2. Brainstorm ideas together for your plot/characters;
3. Discuss any process obstacles you're butting
up against
If you enjoy your time with that coach, we'll talk about making it a regular thing through our
book coaching. If you enjoy your time with that coach but don't want to give coaching a try, all good! No strings attached.
But reply quickly! I'll probably draw names Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Let's make it even more fun. Below this is some bookshelf p*rn that shows Daisy on her very smelly dog bed, giving me her signature "Why can't you ever, ever leave me alone" face.
Write a caption, make me laugh. My favorite one gets a free 60-minute session, regardless of names and hats. I'll show the winning entry in my next message.
