Discuss: What makes a writer legitimate?
Published: Thu, 10/02/14
Last week, we asked what makes a writer legitimate: meaning, money, or something else entirely. "Commit to meaning and mystery instead of money," advises WBN coach and consultant Steve Adams. "You'll be carried much farther, and your work will likely be better, too." As it turns out, Steve isn't the only one with strong feelings on the subject. WriteByNighters' answers ranged from honesty to fame to legacy to freedom.
