Mid-April Writing Goals Check-In (Sorry)

Published: Sun, 04/16/17

Happy weekend, writers,

With Tax Day/Easter/Passover season upon us, we're a little over one-third of the way into the year, which to me seems a great time to check in on our 2017 writing goals!

This week on the blog, we want to hear about your 2017 writing progress. What have you learned as a writer? How have you grown as a writer? Are you on pace to hit your goals or are you lagging behind?

If you just heard yourself make a sound that went something like Uuuugggghhhfuc*, I'll count you in the latter category.

But it's important to know why you're lagging behind. Is it a lack of time and/or motivation? Are your fears tripping you up? Maybe you need to bust out of your comfort zone?

If you're struggling to keep pace, let us know in the comments section of the post, and, hopefully with the help of your fellow WriteByNighters, we can figure out how to get you unstuck.

If you're in a groove and on pace to meet or exceed your expectations, we want to hear about that, too! Stop by and toot your own horn. It's allowed.

Either way, we want to hear from you. We always do.

Cheers,
David

P.S. If you know someone who might benefit from today's message, please feel free to forward this email along. Go on, help a writer out.

P.P.S. Good news: the WBN Story Club is a go! I'll select our first entry soon and we'll be off to the nerdy races.
