Micro Fiction Contest!

Published: Sun, 09/24/17

Greetings, WriteByNighters,

At the request of a couple of your fellow writers, we're doing something generative this week.

Earlier this year we hosted a fierce micro fiction contest in which we used as prompts a handful of ingenious sp*m comments caught by our website's sp*m filter.

This time around, we're... well, we're doing the same thing.

In this week's post, "More Fun with Sp*m," we offer five new weirdo prompts -- including one about the mighty mighty thinkolator, of course -- and space to create a story of fifty words or fewer.

The winner receives a brand-new copy of Spoiler Alert: The Hero Diesthe new memoir from WriteByNight book coaching client Michael Ausiello that People magazine just named its Book of the Week.

(If you don't win, go get the book anyway! We absolutely love it, and think you will too.)

And remember... just like we do, "the arena hopes for even more passionate writers!"

For details, to enter, and to learn what the hell that last sentence means, visit this week's blog post, "More Fun with Sp*m."

Cheers,
David

P.S. If you know someone who might benefit from today's message, please feel free to forward this email along. Go on, help a writer out.

P.P.S. Thank you for all of the kind emails and comments about last week's message and post, "Tom's a Good Farmer."
