Hi writers,
This week we want to take a minute to shell out some kudos to a few WriteByNighters who have recently met with success on the publishing front.
Bridget Farr has sold her middle grade debut novel, Pavi Sharma's Guide to Going Home, to Little, Brown & Company.
Bridget worked with WBN's Resa Alboher in
book coaching.
Black Opal Books has agreed to publish Mike McGee's three-book series, which features teacher-turned-sleuth Pat Riordan.
Mike worked with WBN's Bridget Apfeld in
publication assistance after working with me in the editing stage.
Moonshine Cove has purchased Poppi Z Melera's self-help book, Psychological Warfare: The Power of Mental Strength and the Formula for Victory.
Poppi worked
with WBN's Lydia Conklin in book coaching, with Adriana Cloud and me in editing, and with Bridget Apfeld in publication assistance.
And Elizabeth Carmer will publish her poetry collection, Halfway Friends for Decades, with WordTech Communications, one of the country's premier poetry publishers.
Elizabeth worked with WBN's Nick Courtright in private instruction, then with Adriana and me in editing, and with Bridget in publication assistance.
We're so happy for these four talented writers, and honored that we had the opportunity to help them reach these goals.
And if you've met with some recent success in publishing, let us know in the comments or by replying to this message.
We always like to hear stories about happy writers!
