Happy almost New Year!
I promised to publish our annual literary resolutions blog post this week, but I'm breaking that promise. It's the last time (this year) I'll break a promise to you, I swear!
Instead, I think it might be cool if we all take a minute to reflect on the things we achieved as writers and readers in 2018.
In this week's post, "Your 2018 Writing Accomplishments," I'm asking you to brag. I know it's uncomfortable for many of you. We're told "Don't pat yourself on the back so hard that you fall over."
I want you to fall over.
Did you hit the writing and reading goals you laid out (and perhaps shared on this post) for 2018? Or at least make significant progress toward them?
In what way(s) did you improve as a writer and/or a reader this year?
What has been your greatest literary achievement in 2018?
That's what I want to hear about in the comments of this week's blog post, "Your 2018 Writing Accomplishments."
Don't forget to include all relevant info, including links if applicable.
And don't forget to congratulate your fellow WriteByNighters on their own accomplishments. Writing is usually a solitary activity, but in other ways, we're in this thing together.
Tune in next week for our annual literary resolutions blog post! I swear.
