Happy New Year, writers and friends!
This week, we finally want to hear all about your 2019 literary wants, needs and goals. What do you want to accomplish as a writer and/or reader between now and December 31?
Call it a resolution, if you dare. Or a goal, or a want. Or simply something that you'd like to see happen but aren't going to demand of yourself.
Whatever you call it, tell us all about it in the comments of this week's post, "In 2019, You Will!"
If you like, start your comment by completing this sentence: "In 2019, I will ________________."
And we'll be sure to check in with you throughout the year to see what kind of progress you've made and what (if anything) might be getting in your way.
I've also left my own answer at the end of the post. The gist: I want to establish a writing routine; I want to get back into publishing my writing; I want to read more books that affect me emotionally; and I want to keep learning and improving as a writer, a reader, and a writing coach.
Oh, also, it would be nice to finish both books I'm writing. But I won't call that a goal; instead, it's just something that would make me happy.
