Happy holidays!
Like many of you, we'll be traveling this weekend, starting in the hellscape that is LaGuardia Airport and (hopefully) ending up in the surprisingly non-icy Midwest.
I have my reading material picked out in anticipation of the long lines and inevitable delays. I assume you do, too. But if not? We're here to help.
In this week's post, "Best of 2018," I pick ten of my favorite blog posts of the year and include a little detail about why. Because, hey, I know you don't get the chance to read our stuff every single week.
I enjoy writing these posts—our writing muscles need regular practice, and it's fun to mine my own experiences and curiosities for content—but
without you loyal readers and the wonderful contributions you make in the comments, it would all be a pretty sad exercise.
So, thank you for reading and thank you for responding.
If there's anything you'd like us to cover on the blog or our weekly email, you can reply to these emails to reach me directly anytime.
Next week, be ready for our annual post where we ask you to share your writing goals for next year. Are they taking shape? Are you eager to hit the 2019 ground running?
We hope the rest of your 2018 is relaxing and joyful. A very merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it. We hope Santa brings you everything you want—especially if it's an exciting new book or a beautiful new writing journal!
