There's nothing worse than a sterile email from a sterile business owner. That's why Justine and I try to inject some personality into these messages and blog posts.
Still, it can be difficult to navigate the crooked line between showing some personality and showing too much personality. And some recent conversations have me wondering if I err too much on the side of holding back.
Next week we have something major to celebrate (ooh, the suspense!), so ahead of that, this week we want to offer... well, us.
You know those Reddit AMAs ("Ask Me Anything") where people can ask the host any burning question and he/she gives open and honest answers? That's what we're doing (gulp) in this week's blog post, "Ask Us Anything."
Have you ever wanted to delve into our wildest dreams for our own writing? Or know what motivates us and what demotivates us?
Maybe you've always been curious about our families and upbringing, or wanted to learn about our deepest, darkest fears.

Nothing is off-limits! Except for writing advice, which we'd still prefer to discuss one-on-one during your free writing consultation. And except for anything we deem offensive. Keep it clean(ish).
