Hi writers,
The other day I looked down at my wrist and watched the motion of its puffy white scar while I typed.
It happened September 9, 1992. I know the date because it was the night Robin Yount got his 3,000th hit at Milwaukee County Stadium.
I don't remember the hit. What I do remember is being in kind of a terrifying men's room, wiping blood off my wrist and being asked by an old man to wipe feces off the back of his clothes.
We can't choose what we remember.
I wrote that phrase after the scar caught my eye. Then I wrote some more. Soon I'd written 5,000 words.
It can be an external scar or an internal scar; yours or someone else's. A literal scar or a figurative scar; even an imagined, totally fictitious scar.
Write it, then copy/paste it in the comments for all to see.
