Hi WriteByNighters,
This week we want to throw out a totally unconnected series of questions, questions like, what is your oldest writing project that's still in-progress? And when did you become a "real" writer?
Why are we doing this? Because the questions are drawn from an interview we conducted with M.E. Solomon, whose first short story was just published at Teleport and who is working on a novel in book coaching with WriteByNight coach/consultant Resa Alboher.
In the Q&A, M.E. shares her feelings upon seeing her very first byline; her experience with book coaching; how she got her start as a writer; and what her goals are for her literary future.
Other discussion questions this conversation inspired: When it comes to feedback on your writing, is quantity more important than quality?
And what do you do to stay connected to the writer within you on days you can't work on your project, or can't write at all?
