Hi WriteByNighters,
In a normal year I'll read a book a week.
This year I'm at fifteen books read.
From mid-February to mid-April -- lockdown in NYC -- I read zero books. From mid-September to now, I've read zero books. That's four months' worth of no books.
All in all, I'm OK with this; it's been a weird year in so many ways, and more important things have happened, and are happening, than a dip in my reading list.
But I definitely won't be hitting the reading goals I set for 2020.
What about you? Will you achieve your 2020 reading goals, if you set any? Did you read anything that moved you? Are there any titles you want to recommend to me and your fellow WriteByNighters?
When I get back in the saddle, I want to have a few good books in the holster.
