Hi writers & readers,
They've hopped! This week we want to take a look at a few new offerings from WriteByNighters and Atmosphere Press: novels, memoirs, self-help, and true crime, plenty of new writing to keep you occupied through the autumn and into the winter.
The book is "a unique, compelling true story that draws pathos and humor from the absurdities of life."
Described as "oddly sweet and moving," Waking Up Marriage is a book Bill worked on, in coaching, with Nick Courtright and Robert McDowell.
(Spoiler alert: Betty is related to the killer!)
Seed and Grow are the first
two in a series of eco-fiction novels by WriteByNighter Chris McGee. Follow the adventures Jack and Lake Creek, eco-warriors "in the vein of Edward Abbey" (a person favorite of mine, and the author's).
Chris has worked with Bridget Apfeld (publication assistance), Robert McDowell (critique), Justine (publication assistance), and David (proof).
High school (and life) for Kat Morgan is a train wreck; she "has become a girl whose skin she can barely stand to wear" -- something she means literally -- until she finds unexpected help in an unexpected form.
Sylvia worked with WBN's Carolyn Cohagan on a critique.
S. Lee Glick's new novel is "a book to die for." The Testament follows Simon after his uncle wills him a creepy unfinished manuscript, but before Simon can type "The End," he must fight off a gang
of evil cousins -- and maybe even something far more bloodthirsty... something from the other side.
Stephen has worked with WBN's Resa Alboher (coaching), Adriana Cloud (line edit), David (proof), and John Sibley Williams (publication assistance).
Our congrats to these wonderful writers and their exciting books! And our everlasting thanks for allowing WriteByNight to help them reach their literary goals.
