Your questions about writing: ask away
Published: Thu, 06/12/14
Writers like questions. We tend to have a lot of them, too. For many of us, it's why we write: to attempt understanding, work through issues, put a satisfying period where a hazy question mark used to be. In short, we write to find answers, which is exactly what we invite you to do today. Send us your writing-related questions and we'll answer via email or on our blog, like we did here and here. Any and all questions are fair game as long as they have to do with writing: -questions about craft, e.g. "What is perspective and why is it so important?" -questions about process, e.g. "How many drafts do I really need?" -questions about goal-setting, e.g. "How long will it take for me to write my novel?" -questions about publishing, e.g. "Do I have to pay an agent?" There is no such thing as a stupid question, only the stupidity of having a question but not asking it! So ask away. To ask a question, simply reply to this email or email me directly here. Along with your question, include a sentence or two about the specific writing-related challenge you're facing. When we respond, we'll use your first name and last initial, unless you instruct us otherwise. Eagerly awaiting your email, Justine Justine Tal Goldberg Owner, WriteByNight |
